July 2017 – Cumbrian Patchwork

This month we got together to create a fabric patch for the Cumbria people’s patchwork!

The people’s patchwork being created by The Quilters Guild and BBC Cumbria to celebrate 50 years of local radio sewing communities together.
We created a 10″/25cm patch featuring something we love about the Cumbria like sheep, fells, rivers, mayflies or topiary.

The patches were added to the quilt which toured libraries in Cumbria.
